Terms of Use

These terms of use govern the use of the Poli application and its associated services. By using Poli, you accept these terms in their entirety.

Poli is a macOS application that provides the following services:

• Grammar and spelling correction of texts.
• Translation of texts into 20+ languages.
• History of corrections and translations.

The service uses Anthropic's Claude artificial intelligence. Results are not guaranteed to be perfect and do not replace human proofreading.

Using Poli requires creating an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for the confidentiality of your credentials. You must be at least 13 years old to use Poli.

You agree not to:

• Use the service for illegal or immoral purposes.
• Attempt to circumvent free plan limitations.
• Submit content that infringes third-party rights.
• Use the service to generate spam or automated mass content.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application.

The Poli application, its source code, design, mascot, and brand are the exclusive property of Poli. You retain all rights to the texts you submit to the service.

We strive to keep the service available 24/7. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Interruptions for maintenance or updates may occur.

Poli is provided "as is". We are not liable for errors in corrections or translations provided by the AI, nor for the consequences of their use. Our total liability is limited to the amount of your subscription over the past 12 months.

You may delete your account at any time from the application settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate an account in case of violation of these terms.

We may modify these terms. Changes take effect upon publication. Continued use of the service after modification constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

These terms are governed by French law. In case of dispute, French courts have jurisdiction, without prejudice to consumer rights to bring proceedings in their place of residence.
